Once more than one person works on the catalogue, a new entry can go live before anyone has checked it. A wrong price or an unfinished description then sits on your public website right away.
New entries that staff with edit rights create sit in a review queue and reach the public page only once approved. Everything already live counts as approved automatically, so there is no backlog to work through.
That way you stay in control of what appears on your website, without entering every change yourself.
What ports as-is
- Approval is recorded directly on the existing entry, without creating extra administrative work.
- A new entry always starts out unapproved, nobody can skip that, not even an admin.
- A later edit does not change the approval state either way.
- The check applies on every path the website uses to show content publicly.
