You describe the change you want in the chat, and the assistant proposes a new version. Nothing is saved until that version is approved, through the same save button as always. Nothing changes automatically in the background.
The chat has no connection of its own to your project. Every change runs through the existing save path, the same way a change typed in by hand would.
