Keep the existing record with its full history when you rename a customer, product or project. No second entry appears under the new name. If the name is already taken, you find out immediately.

The Agentic Part

An agent recognises, on every rename, whether it is the same record or a new one, and updates the existing entry in the first case, so no second entry gets created. If the new name is already taken, it reports the conflict immediately, before anything is saved.

Main Features

  • Reliable detection of rename versus new entry
  • Rename handled inside the normal edit-and-save step
  • Immediate conflict check on the new name

Use Cases

  • Renaming a customer used to risk creating a second, disconnected record. Now the agent updates the existing one, and a second entry never appears.
  • Two customers end up with the same intended name. The agent reports the conflict immediately, before anything gets saved.
  • A project keeps its history through a series of renames over the years. Every rename updates the same record, the history stays intact.
  • A rename happens inside the normal edit-and-save step. Nobody needs a separate workflow for it.
